Hiroko Technologies Private Limited operates swyp.me. This explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than to be exhaustive for its own sake.
1. What we collect
When you create an account:
- Your email address, used to sign you in and to contact you about your account
- Your chosen username
When you build a page:
- Whatever you type, upload or import — your name, bio, links, photos and videos
- The text of prompts you enter, so we can improve how the page builder interprets them
- Public profile information from a social account you ask us to import, such as your display name, bio, follower count, profile photo and recent public posts
When someone visits your published page:
- That a view or a link tap happened, and which link
- The country the visit came from, as a two-letter code
- Whether the device was a phone, tablet or desktop
- The website that referred them, as a domain only — never the full URL
We deliberately do not store visitors' IP addresses, full user agent strings, or any cookie that would let us identify or track an individual visitor. Page analytics tell a creator how many people came, not who they were.
2. Why we use it
- To provide the Service — building, hosting and serving your page
- To show you analytics for your own page
- To send you service messages: sign-in links, receipts, and notices about your account
- To improve the product, including how accurately we interpret what you type
- To detect abuse, impersonation and fraud
- To meet legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to train third-party models beyond what is needed to generate your own page.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as much as they need:
- Hosting and database providers, to store and serve your page
- Payment providers, to take payment — they receive your billing details directly and we never see your full card number
- An email provider, to send sign-in links and notifications
- AI providers, to generate page content from what you type
- Analytics providers, for aggregate product usage
Some of these operate outside India, so your data may be processed abroad under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
4. Anything you publish is public
Your published page is available to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines. Please do not put anything on it you would not want publicly visible. This is the point of the Service, but it is worth stating plainly.
5. How long we keep it
- Account and page data: while your account is open, and for up to 30 days after you delete it
- Page analytics: rolling window, then deleted
- Prompts: up to 90 days, then deleted
- Billing records: as long as tax and company law requires, typically eight years
Backups are overwritten on their ordinary cycle after deletion.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the data we hold about you
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete your account and its data
- stop sending you non-essential email
Email support@swyp.me and we will respond within 30 days. You can delete your account yourself from the dashboard at any time.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track visitors to your published page across sites.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and hosted infrastructure from established providers. No service can promise perfect security, but if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
10. Changes
We will post any update on this page and change the date above. For material changes we will notify you by email before they take effect.
11. Contact and grievances
For any privacy question, or to raise a grievance under India's Information Technology Act and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, contact our Grievance Officer at support@swyp.me. Full details are on our Contact page.
